The difference
Most firms won't. We do — properly.
Some journeys should happen in your own car — the seat set your way, your things where you left them. Driver hire puts a trained chauffeur at your wheel, with the licensing and checks handled — and your own insurer confirming our driver is on cover before anyone touches a key.
It is the service our clients mention most, because almost nobody else offers it well.
You prefer your own car
Long journeys, familiar comfort — you travel, we drive.
Dealerships & vehicle delivery
Collections, handovers and moves between sites — driven, not trucked.
Prestige & collector cars
Driven rarely, and only with the respect you would insist on yourself.
The car is the occasion
Weddings and events in the family car, chauffeured for the day.
When driving stops
Health or licence changes needn't park the car you love. Keep it — we'll drive.
How it works
Four steps. No surprises.
01
Tell us the journey
The route, the dates — and the car itself. A single airport run or a season of it.
02
Paper before keys
Licence and DBS confirmed in writing — and your insurer's confirmation that our driver is on your policy — before anything is booked.
03
Walk-round together
Your chauffeur arrives early, presented and briefed. You agree the car's condition together before setting off.
04
Returned as found
Driven, delivered or garaged — mileage and condition noted, keys back in your hand.
Insurance & licensing
The boring bits, in plain English.
Nothing moves until the cover is right. Because it is your car, the insurance has to come from your own motor policy — you add your named CFH chauffeur to it for the dates in question. We can't arrange cover to drive your vehicle from our end, but we'll tell you exactly what your insurer needs, and we won't take the keys until you've confirmed our driver is on the policy.
Licensed and DBS-checked
Every chauffeur holds a clean licence and an enhanced DBS check, renewed on schedule.
Formally trained, evidenced
Formal chauffeur training courses completed — certificates available on request.
On your own policy
You add your CFH chauffeur as a named driver to your motor policy for the dates agreed — we guide you through exactly what your insurer needs.
If the driver isn't on cover
We don't take the keys. Simple as that.
